I discovered the world of blackberry messenger in 2009 and I've been hooked ever since, at first I wasn't aware of the D and R symbols that appear next to the small tick when you send a message. D= delivered and R= read. Frankly I wish I never discovered the meaning of these two little symbols because it really gets under my skin when you send a message to someone and they R your message but don't respond or R and go on to change display pictures or status messages and still don't respond till 3 hours later. I wouldn't care if I didn't care for the person but when you do care for them it makes you wonder why do I bother with you. If you have got time to Read surly you have time to Respond.
There is a feeling of anger, frustration and resentment that comes upon me and frankly the next person that does this I will merely hit the delete button (straight face). Respect is to be earned and I feel like you should treat others how you want to be treated, when I start ignoring others by doing the same thing I will hear such comments like, oh she's started again blah blah! Blackberry should have just left out the D & R in order to make people's blood level stay under control as I have spoken to many who get irritated by this very D & R situation................Its ranting Friday deal with it!
Perhaps its time for that IPhone!
